Make your arrival to Lapland even more special by snowmobiling directly from Kittilä Airport to Levi! Our guides will be waiting for you with snowmobiles at the airport. You will change into our thermal driving gear at the airport, and luggage will be delivered to your hotel in Levi by car. While snowmobiling you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Levi fell. We take a coffee break on the way. Once in Levi, the safari ends at the Wild Nordic Levi office and we will transport you by car for the rest of the way to your accommodation.

Hop into the car and head to Lainio village with us! The Snow Village located there is a unique combination of ice and snow building. Your guide will lead you through the ice hotel and snow restaurant telling you about snow building. You can take amazing photos of the creations made of ice and snow. Before hopping back into the car we enjoy hot drinks and buns in the cosy indoors cafeteria. Tour duration includes transfers – approximately 45 minutes one way – to the venue and back. 

Challenge yourself and try out something new – fat biking in Lapland! Suitable for first-timers, this fat biking tour provides an active and family-friendly way to experience the beauty of Lapland in winter. On the tour we use high-quality fat bikes which make biking in snow surprisingly easy. This tour is not suitable for children under 6 years.

Full day of endless ridin? This is the tour for you! Your guide takes you snowmobiling through the mighty Lappish fell scenery to the idyllic village of Raattama at the border of Kittilä and Enontekiö. Raattama is a traditional Lappish village where most people make their living from reindeer herding. In Raattama we have a break at the reindeer farm Autto to enjoy a tasty lunch. On this tour it’s fairly common to spot local animals such as willow grouse, black grouse, reindeer and elk. Also, the landscapes are some of the best in Lapland!

When the dark of night sets in and the ski resort shuts off its lights, it is our time to take over the slopes. Walking along the slopes, we will take breaks to admire the breathtaking night sky. We will listen to the warm fire crackling in the hut while we enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and snacks, hoping for the dancing Auroras. We make short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery. This tour is not suitable for children under 6 years.

This tour is suitable for those who wish to experience a little longer snowmobile safari with truly amazing landscapes. The tour takes you further from the usual safari trails as we ride on snowmobiles towards the fell Kätkä near Levi. We ride through the beautiful winter forest and make several stops on the way to enjoy the frozen wintry nature. Somewhere along the way there will be a coffee break with a bun. The snowmobile safari will continue after the coffee break as we ride back towards Levi. You will stay outdoors for about 4 hours and have a long snowmobile ride. The driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group.

If you are looking for a slightly longer husky experience, this is for you. After a short transfer you will arrive at the husky farm, where the friendly huskies bark eagerly as they wait to whisk you away on a memorable 8km husky safari. The husky musher will give you driving instructions and then you will start the safari with your own team of dogs.

A memorable longer husky experience through the beautiful Lappish nature. On this tour you will witness breathtaking winter landscapes, and really get used to steering your own dog sled. After receiving driving instructions you will meet your eager dog team and depart for a breathtaking 15 - 18km tour.

This snowmobile tour is for those who want to enjoy snowmobiling and experience ice fishing in the beautiful Lapland wilderness. The journey takes us through the beautiful winter forest and we make several stops on the way to enjoy the frozen nature and landscapes. Your guide will give you the equipment, and after a little walk on the ice, you will be instructed how to drill a hole and set your fishing hook. We’ll make a small campfire while fishing, so we can grill any decent-sized catches we get. If we don’t catch any fish, don’t worry – we will also enjoy some delicious hot drinks and sweet buns before we snowmobile back towards Levi.

A special experience for any horse lover. A peaceful ride on friendly and reliable Finn horses through the beautiful snowy forest. After receiving instructions for handling your horse you will set off to the trail and enjoy a steady ride on the snowy trail. Your horseback riding experience will be about 1 - 1,5 hours. A delicious hot drink and cookie will also be served before you say goodbye to your new furry friend and head back to Levi by bus. This tour is suitable for beginners.

This is a full day snowmobile tour for those who really want to see life outside the Levi ski resort. The tour takes you further from the usual safari trails as we ride to visit authentic Lappish villages and hear stories about life in Lapland. The snowmobile track varies from open swamps to beautiful forest trails. We make a stop for a coffee in a local cafeteria and visit remote Lappish villages, then have a break for lunch and warming up in a cosy restaurant. After lunch we continue through the beautiful wintery nature back to Levi. Sit back and relax as your guide steers the sleigh and you admire the power of these amazing animals. A delicious local cookie and tasty berry juice will be served before your bid farewell to the beautiful animals and head back to Levi.

The evening departure for a snowmobile safari will be a special experience to discover the magic of snowy forests at twilight. Given extra light by the white snow reflection or the stars and the moon, we follow the snowmobile trails away from the lights of Levi village, looking for spots to admire the sky. For taking proper photos in darkness, you can bring along a tripod for your camera. The duration of the program is approximately 3 hours, including preparations. Ice fishing is a very popular leisure time activity for locals in Lapland; spending time together in peace and learning about nature, water and fish at the same time. The ice gets very thick in the winter and you are safe to walk and stay on it. Our guide will introduce to you the technique of ice fishing: how to choose the correct lure and insert the worm, which the fish love so much! You will drill your own hole into the ice and then place the hook into water. Fish don't expend much energy during the winter months, and therefore moving your bait or jigging too fast might make the fish let go in order to save energy. A catch is not guaranteed but most likely happens to a patient fisherman. After fishing we will sit down by an open fire for some snacks and fishing stories, cooking anything decent-sized caught during the tour.

Snowshoeing is a great way to experience Lapland’s wintry wildernesses, enjoy the fresh and clean air and get some exercise. People in the Arctic areas have been using snowshoes already for centuries; they were intended to assist people in traveling the snowy landscapes. Using snowshoes is easy, you don’t need to be a skilled skier to learn what snowshoe hiking is all about – reasonably good balance and warm clothing is all you need. During the trip there will be a break to enjoy hot drinks in the lovely wintry atmosphere.

The shortest of our self driven husky tours. After a short transfer you will arrive at the family owned husky farm. You will meet the adorable and friendly dogs which are eagerly waiting to take you for a ride, and get to hear about their lives here in Lapland. The dogs have a real passion for running and after receiving driving instructions you will enjoy a thrilling 5 - 6km husky safari with your own dog team.

Experience three of Lapland’s most famous activities in one tour - Snowmobiling, a reindeer sleigh ride and a taste of ice fishing! You will drive through the beautiful Lappish nature by snowmobile and make a stop at a traditional reindeer farm, where you will see reindeer and enjoy a 1 km reindeer ride. You will also try your hand at ice fishing - a leisure pastime which is loved by the locals. A hot drink and snack will be served during the tour before returning back to Levi by snowmobile.

An evening biking tour in the Lappish nature with electric fat bikes. The snowy forest looks truly magical in the moonlight, and if luck is on your side you may even catch a glimpse of the aurora borealis dancing in the sky. The bikes have wide tyres especially designed for challenging terrain such as snow, and the electric assistance can be changed to make pedaling easier or more challenging. You will explore the peaceful nature trails with your guide and sip hot berry juice while you enjoy a relaxing break. This tour requires good physical fitness.

We head away from all the lights of Levi village to a more remote location to find darkness. We light a small campfire and sit around it to grill some snacks (including in safari). Listening to the fire in the darkness is a powerful and relaxing experience. The guide tells stories of the magical nights, which are never all that dark with all the snow, stars and of course the northern lights. Do not forget to look up to the sky while enjoying your evening with us – if you’re lucky, you might see the stories come to life.
