Reindeer tours

Enjoy snowmobiling in the Levi area and make a stop at the old reindeer farm, where you will see the reindeers and the guide will share the stories about reindeer herding. You will experience a short 1-kilometer reindeer ride, 2 adults sharing 1 reindeer sleigh. You can take plenty of photos during your visit. Hot drinks and homemade sweet buns will be served indoors in the old farmhouse. Duration of the program is approximately 3 hours, including preparations. The driving time is approximately 2 hours and the driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group. The average speed on our short tours is limited due to the safety and traffic regulations.

If you are looking for a shorter husky and reindeer ride, and you don’t want to drive a husky sleigh yourself, this tour is for you. After arriving at the farm you will meet the friendly huskies and adorable reindeer and hear about their lives. There will be plenty of photo opportunities during the visit, and you will also be whisked away for a short husky and reindeer ride. Sit back and relax as your guide steers the sleigh and you admire the power of these amazing animals. A delicious local cookie and tasty berry juice will be served before your bid farewell to the beautiful animals and head back to Levi.

Experience three of Lapland’s most famous activities in one tour - Snowmobiling, a reindeer sleigh ride and a taste of ice fishing! You will drive through the beautiful Lappish nature by snowmobile and make a stop at a traditional reindeer farm, where you will see reindeer and enjoy a 1 km reindeer ride. You will also try your hand at ice fishing - a leisure pastime which is loved by the locals. A hot drink and snack will be served during the tour before returning back to Levi by snowmobile.
