WELCOME TO ARCTIC LIGHTHOUSE HOTEL
The hotel is located on Hailuoto, the largest island in the Gulf of Bothnia. Nestled at the foot of a former lighthouse, it offers exceptional and expansive sea views across the gulf. This truly unique and utterly fascinating venue once served as a maritime pilot station.
The hotel has a reception area, restaurant, large sunny terrace in the summers, sauna and meeting room. A guest marina is located immediately adjacent to the hotel, complete with a service building, waste disposal area and sauna facilities. A fully operational pilot boat marina is located next to the guest marina.
Thanks to its truly one-of-a-kind natural setting, Hailuoto island has achieved iconic status in Finland. Hailuoto is the third largest Finnish sea island and the only one in the Bay of Bothnia that remains permanently inhabited despite the absence of year-round road access.
During the summer, Hailuoto is connected to mainland by a free ferry, while in winter it is connected by an ice road. Oulu International Airport is located close by. There is a straight bus connection from Oulu to Arctic Lighthouse Hotel, and the island is also accessible by bicycle.
