Additional information on the ferries
The ferry is free of charge and the 7 km trip takes about 25 minutes. The ferry operates all year around between Hailuoto and Oulunsalo.
You will find coffee kiosks at both ferry harbours. Please allow enough time for travelling in Hailuoto in addition to waiting
for the ferries. Driving through the Hailuoto island alone takes 30 minutes (from the ferry harbour to Arctic Lighthouse Hotel in Marjaniemi).
