Our basic room prices are for 1–2 persons. It is possible to add extra beds to some of the rooms for an extra fee. We ask you to mention about the need for an extra bed always in advance.

Everything served during the breakfast and lunch buffet is lactose-free. Gluten-free products can be inquired on spot. In case of any other allergies the kitchen staff is happy to provide you options. In case of a group reservation all special diets and allergies have to be informed in advance at the latest 10 days before the arrival.

Any and all four-legged family members are welcome to stay at the hotel. All our room options on the lower floor cater for your pets depending on availability.  The additional cleaning fee is 20€ per room/stay.
We ask you to mention about your pet upon making the booking as the number of these rooms is limited. Reservations through or our webshop.

The public bus number 59 provides transfers between Oulu and Hailuoto daily. You can check the schedule here (only in Finnish).

There is plenty of parking space in the the immediate vicinity of the hotel – both on the right hand side in front of the hotel and behind the hotel. Available places can be inquired from the staff on spot. Please remember to leave enough room to maneuver for any emergency vehicles!

The lighthouse is the northernmost operational lighthouse in Finland in which it is possible to enjoy not only the view but also the machinery. Because of this it is possible to visit the lighthouse only with a certified guide. These tours are run approximately from late June till mid-August. During other times the tours are available on request for groups. Please inquire the staff on spot or send an email to

The ferry from the mainland to Hailuoto is free of charge and no places can be reserved in advance. The trip takes around 25 minutes. Visitors use the right hand side lane, the one on the left is for emergency vehicles and cars with right of way. The ferry is operational throughout the year. It is recommended to arrive to the ferry well in advance – during events and the summer holiday season the queues can be very long momentarily. The ferry timetable is available here:
