After taking a 30-minute transfer, you arrive to Arctic SnowHotel which offers an excellent opportunity to view spectacular Northern Lights.
Enjoy snow and ice experiences starting from the Autumn opening. Have you ever tried skiing in September? See the most Instagrammable pop-up Ice Bar, that serves frosty drinks. You can also marvel the night sky at the floating lean-to.
Sauna experience
When in Finland, do as the Finns do and try Finnish sauna! We are happy to pamper you with traditional Finnish sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi – imagine the fresh air, bathing in warm water! The sauna is booked in private use for each family/couple/group. We provide towels, slippers and bathrobes

Ice Sculpting
Ice sculpting is an artform that requires a steady hand, an eye for form and mastery of an arctic element – ice. Every year, dozens of snow and ice sculptors create amazing works at the SnowHotel. Arctic SnowHotel offers its guests an exclusive opportunity to try ice sculpting – as the only place in Rovaniemi!
The season’s coolest experience starts with a guided tour of our ice storage facilities, where the temperature is always below 0°. In the facilities cooled by solar energy, the artists work on their sculptures, and the huge ice cubes lifted from the lake the previous winter are stored. On the tour, guests learn interesting facts about ice and snow sculpting as work and as a form of art.
Then it’s time to try your own skills in the ice sculpting workshop led by our expert guide. In the workshop, everyone gets their own ice cube and learns to use ice carving tools. Those who participate in the workshop are also involved in building a new Snow Hotel: the unique works sculpted by our guests will be displayed in Arctic SnowHotel for the following season !

The traditional 3-course dinner is served in a magical atmosphere by an open fire at Lappish Kota restaurant.

Starter:
- Creamy carrot soup, smoked cheese cream and crispy onion
Main course options (please choose one):
- Salmon glow-fried by the open fire, roasted Lappish potatoes and leek
- Traditional sautéed reindeer, Lappish potato mash, pickled cucumbers and lingonberry jam
- Parsnip pure, sauteed broadbean and leek, cherry tomato salsa, tomato sauce and anis pickled cabbage-onion salad (vegan)
Dessert:
- Lingonberry-caramel pie, lingonberries seasoned with brown sugar and white-chocolate mousse
