Enjoy Lapland in an eco-friendly way – visiting a traditional reindeer farm by e-fatbike! The perfect experience to discover the nature of Lapland and local culture of a traditional reindeer farm.The ride to the reindeer farm takes one through the Lappish forests of the area on an approximately 45 minute ride before you arrive at the reindeer farm. Reindeer is probably the most iconic animal of Lapland and has played a significant part in the local traditional lifestyle. Enjoy a comprehensive visit of the farm, meet the herders and their animals, learn about their lifestyles and reindeer husbandry. As it is the first visit of the day, you will also get the chance to feed the reindeer with some of their favorite food directly from your hands. This is a great chance to approach the animals too, as reindeer are still very wild. The visit finishes with a light snack around the campfire in a traditional Finnish kota or wooden tepee styled shelter. After the visit to the farm, you will jump on your bikes again for the ride back to Rovaniemi, taking a different route. The total ride is approximately 20 kilometers via easy forest trails and road cycling paths.

The fatbikes are adapted to sizes from 150 cm (ideally 155 cm). Children can join the tour if they comply with the minimum height.
