Full Day Snowmobile Safari to the Wilderness with Lunch

Full Day Snowmobile Safari to the Wilderness with Lunch

Starting from 390,00 € / person

Available: January – March
Duration: 8 hours
Total time from your holiday: approximately 9,5 h (including transfers, dressing, safety/driving instructions, restaurant lunch and tour + photo breaks)
Destination: Rovaniemi

Lapland’s most exhilarating single-day ride: an 8-hour expedition that trades the commonly traveled tracks for more than 120 kilometers of wide river tracks, narrow forest routes, and open wilderness that most visitors never get close to. Every rider drives their own snowmobile — this tour is single-driving only — so from the moment you leave the Safari Center, you’re fully in control of your own ride, not sharing the throttle with anyone.

The terrain here is noticeably more demanding than our standard safaris: expect uneven trail surfaces, tighter turns through dense forest, and long open sections across frozen rivers where the wind and cold really make themselves known. Climb hills and descend through open landscapes as you settle into the flow of what real snowmobiling is all about. It’s a tour built for guests with a genuine appetite for adventure and a reasonable level of physical fitness — previous off-road driving experience isn’t required, but it will help you feel at home on the more challenging sections faster. Your guide will also be acting as your personal snowmobile coach, helping you to become more confident and capable throughout the duration of the tour.

Roughly midway through the roughly 6 hours of driving, you’ll stop at a restaurant for a hearty, warming lunch that refuels you for the second half of the day, plus hot drinks along the route to keep the cold at bay. Guests often describe this tour as their first real taste of what our multi-day Arctic Expeditions are like — long-distance, physically engaging, and a world away from a typical afternoon safari. If you’re seeking a 5-star experience – your search is over. If you finish this one wanting more, the Arctic Expeditions are the natural next step.
